When I started my first semester at Columbia College Chicago as a Graphic Arts Major, I was exited that I had to take Black & White Photography. Taking this class, I not only learned the discipline aspect, but it allow my creativity to take control from behind the view finder. The essence of learning film and the technique involved, set the ground work and foundation for my graphic design background. On the other hand as I adopted to digital photography and mastering programs such as Photoshop and other photo editing applications, I had more flexibility to create more intersting photography as well.
